AreaSegura is designed to help communities without enabling tracking or harassment. We commit to the following:

10-minute public delay before incidents appear in the feed.
750m grid snapping so precise addresses are not exposed.
No public raw coordinates and no exposure of reporter identity.
Daily-rotating IP hash used only for anti-spam / rate-limiting.
Auto-expiry of incidents and abuse-prevention data (TTL).
